God only moves forward. And so does His call upon your life. - Dennis Cramer
There is a better fast to go on than a fast from food! We can learn to fast from our own thoughts and opinions. Many times we don't hear God because our minds are too full of our own thoughts. Jesus is our example. He lived a perpetual fast from His own thoughts and opinions. He emphasized this truth continually. - Steve Sampson

There is the danger and temptation to you, of drawing your minds into your business, and clogging them with it; so you can hardly do anything to the service of God. - George Fox

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. - Romans 13:14

Jesus lost that Father-Son relationship when He was representing you and carrying your sins at the cross so that today, you can call God "Abba Father"! - Joseph Prince
Scripture often refers to us a "vessels" of the Lord (Jeremiah 18). The one thing about being living vessels is that we leak. We need refilling with water and food, joy and love, affirmation and communication. The same is especially true with the presence of the Lord in our lives through the Holy Spirit. The way we "Walk in the Spirit" is to be continually filled with the Spirit. - Che Ahn
"Let the Spirit direct your lives, and do not satisfy the desires of the human nature." - Galatians 5:16

The great need of our time is for Christians to know what God has called them unto. - T. Austin-Sparks
When you lose anything to the locusts (Joel 2:25-26), you can still get it back. You can appropriate the promise that says everything the locust has eaten, God will restore. Then you can use your faith to start expecting it. Every time you speak of it, It will get closer. - Myles Munroe
"And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten....And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord , your God." (Joel 2:25-26)
Fasting reminds us that we are sustained "by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matt. 4:A4). Food does not sustain us; God sustains us, In Christ, "All things hold together" (Col 1:17). Therefore, in experiences of fasting we are not so much abstaining from food as we are feasting on the word of God. Fasting is feasting! - Richard Foster
One encounter with Jesus Christ is enough to change you, instantly, forever. - Luis Palau
Affirmation: When I come to rest in Him, He will then move through me, and I will actually find rest and refreshment as He does it.
The Holy Spirit does not draw us so we can hang up a "Do Not Disturb" sign and sit in our little comfort zone singing love songs to Jesus the rest of our lives. As fellow heirs with Christ, we are drawn into intimacy, then empowered in ministry to bring others into their destiny in Christ Jesus. - Mike Bickle
You can never pray the prayer of faith if you look at the person who is needing it. There is only one place to look and this is to Jesus. - Smith Wigglesworth

Wednesday Night - Walking In The Spirit - April 20, 2011
Affirmation: The Kingdom of Heaven is in my neighborhood because I live there and the Kingdom of Heaven is in me.
I have purposed to try to live in such a way that nothing ever gets bigger than my consciousness of God's presence. - Bill Johnson
When bad situations hit us and we allow the facts to settle in our hearts, we end up feeling greatly troubled. But when we let the truths of God's Word settle them all, we will sense the Holy Spirit bearing witness to the truths that we are believing. He is the Spirit of truth. He is not the Spirit of facts and does not bear witness to facts. - Joseph Prince
"When the Spirit of truth comes he will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come." - John 16:13
When the battle is over and the victory has been won, do not say, "Look at what I have done through the Lord," but rather kneel at the foot of the cross and say, "Is it not wonderful that His grace and His faith should be manifested in me!" - Don Milam
I can do little, yet I am resolved through the grace of Christ, I will never give over the work, so long as I have legs to go. - John Eliot
Affirmation: I claim and assert now my authority over poverty, pain, suffering, and trouble as a son of the King of the universe.
Like a brave soldier, who, as the conflict grows more stern, exhibits a superior courage than in the earlier stages of the battle; so does the praying Christian, when delay and denial face him, increase his earnest asking, and ceases not until prayer prevails. - E. M. Bounds
Before you get to the church service, you are supposed to be praising God. Even before you get into the car, you are supposed to have had your own private praise service so that when you get with the rest of God's family, you are ready to ascend into God's presence with everybody else. - Myles Munroe
"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord." - Psalm 122:1
What an evangelism tool - imagine walking in such a deep flow of the Spirit of counsel that you receive words of knowledge for others. - Keith Miller
When His church is in a low state, and oppressed by her enemies, and cries to Him, He will swiftly fly to her relief, as birds fly at the cry of their young. - Jonathan Edwards
Affirmation: I put on the new man which is in the image of Christ who is bringing me to a full knowledge of himself.
A reason we may not pursue witnessing the Gospel to others is the fact that many of us want guaranteed results. Jesus never gave us such a guarantee. He never had one when He died on the cross. All that He is asking is that in obedience and love, we share the greatest news ever known. - Che Ahn
Your deepest aim should be to turn a deaf ear to self, while listening to God in silence. Say little and do much - without wondering if you have been noticed or not. - Francois Fenelon
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:3
There is a way of ordering our mental life on more than one level at once. On one level we may be thinking, discussing, seeing, calculating, meeting all the demands of external affairs. But deep within, behind the scenes, at a profounder level, we may also be in prayer and adoration, song and worship, and a gentle receptiveness to divine breathings. - Thomas Kelly
You must not think to go to heaven on a feather-bed if you will be Christ's disciples, you must take up His cross; and it will make you passionate. - Thomas Hooker

Read the Book of Philippians
Chapter 1
Paul's personal disclosure of his inner life and his attitude toward the church -- his chief concern is for the faithfulness of the church in the midst of her persecutions, to remain loyal to Christ.
Chapter 2
Paul encourages the Philippians to seek the mind of Christ and live holy and righteous lives in the midst of a selfish world.
Christ was God's Son -- fully divine -- but He came to earth in the form of a man -- fully human -- to bring salvation and eternal life to all who believe.
Chapter 3
Paul warns against the corrupting influence of the Jewish Christians who were teaching that the Jewish law must be kept before they could be Christians. Paul instructs that true righteousness comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
We are to leave the past behind us.
We are to "Press Toward" the destiny God has called us to.
Chapter 4
Paul makes a personal appeal to steadfastness, unity, helpfulness, moderation, freedom from anxious care, prayerfulness, and avoidance of high thinking.
Affirmations (Repeat and Meditate on These as You Go Throughout the Day):

3. Dunamis Life
Tearing Down Strongholds
2 Corinthians 10:4 -- For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
A stronghold is a satanic force that starts as a thought, then lays its foundation in a person's mind, builds itself up and makes its abode there.
You can't simply cast down a stronghold as you would cast down an evil thought or imagination. You need the word of God to become like a hammer in your life in order to tear down that stronghold and get it out of your system.
Hebrews 4:12 -- For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword.........
Proverbs 4:17 -- My son, attend to my words........
Proverbs 18:10 -- The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run to it and are safe.
Questions To Ask Myself
What stronghold in my life needs to be demolished?
How can I get rid of a stronghold? By having a strong tower!
What word or words of God am I going to use for my strong tower?

only and she shall be made whole.
2. Inheritance in Christ
Read Ehpesians Chapters 4-6
Chapter 4
Paul encourages them to express through their actions the underlying unity that exists in the body of Christ -- this calls for patience and humility.
God in His wisdom has given many different abilities to the people in His church. They exercise their abilities as apostles, prophets, evengelists, pastors, and teachers. All these abilities are needed if the church is to function properly.
Chapter 5
Paul calls on the Ephesians to "put on the new man" and walk circumspectly, filled with the Holy Spirit.
Chapter 6
Paul urges the Epesians to put on the spiritual armour and to get ready to "stand against the wiles of the devil."

PRODUCING THE MIRACLE
John 15:7,8 -- "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."
Some are willing to spend hours in prayer asking for a miracle instead of planting the word of God in their hearts, which in time would produce the miracle. Prayer is what water and fertilizer are to a seed. They help the word release it's life.
But if you haven't planted the seed, it doesn't matter how much water and fertilizer you apply, the soil still won't produce fruit. It's the seed that has life.
Matthew 13:23 -- "The one who received the seed in rich soil is the man who hears the word and understands it; who accordingly bears fruit"........."
Hebrews 4:12 -- For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword..........

2. Inheritance in Christ
Read Galatians Chapters 1-3
Main Themes:
A defense of the Doctrine of Justification by Faith, warnings against Reversion to Jewish ceremonial laws, and a vindication of Paul's Apostleship.
Chapter 1:
Paul proclaims the gospel which he preached came directly by revelation from Christ. He expresses his disappointment that the Galatians have turned away from the true gospel he has preached to them and are now following a false gospel preached by a group of Christian Jews.
Chapter 2:
Paul declares that faith alone justifies a person in God's sight. Nothing else is to be added to this basic requirements for salvation. (Romans 3:28)
Chapter 3:
Paul states that anyone who would exchange the grace of Jesus Christ for keeping the Jewish law, as the Galatians were tempted to do, was foolish indeed. The Jewish Christians had been insisting on making Gentiles sons of Abraham through the rite of circumcision. But Paul declares that Gentile Christians are already Abraham's sons because they share the faith that he demonstrated.
He indicates the purpose of the law as a schoolmaster to prepare the way for Christ.
Affirmations (Repeat and Meditate on These
as You Go Throughout the Day)
Galatians 1:16 - Since Christ is in me I have the power to help others with their spiritual needs.
Galatians 1:24 - God is glorified in me.
Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 3:14 - Through Jesus Christ I receive the blessings of Abraham and the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 3:28 - I am in Christ Jesus
Galatians 3:29 - Since I am in Christ, the promises God made to Abraham are all mine.

Framing Your World
1 Samuel 17:46 -- "This day will the Lord deliver you into my hands; and I will smite you, and take your head from you; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands."
David framed his world -- before he ever fought Goliath, he called out what the outcome would be. He called things that be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). By faith, David said, "The Lord is going to give you into my hands today, Goliath, and I'm going to cut off your head!"
God wants us to be successful in our praying and in our saying. If he didn't want us to succeed, he wouldn't have given us a pattern by which we could frame our world.
Into Action
Name 2 aspects of your world that you would frame with the Word of God followed by personalized scripture that would support the change you desire.
